The oil/water separation technology has attracted extensive attention due to the increasing industrial oilywastewater and the frequent oil spill accidents which causes serious environmental and ecological problemsaround the world Here, the hydrophobic nanocomposites were fabricated using polyurethane, iron oxidenanoparticles, and titanium oxide nanoparticles The resulting nanocomposite was characterized using X raydiffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy The performance of the obtained nanocomposite wasevaluated on the filter paper for oil water separation The results indicated that the nanocomposite showed agood oil water separation efficiency
