A low cost hybrid aqueous supercapacitor with a high working voltage, energy density and good cyclic stability is fabricated with a facile method The electrodes of the supercapacitor are made of self doped polyaniline/carbonized polyaniline SDPA/CSDPA nanocomposite It has been electrodeposited on CSDPA using a reverse normal pulse voltammetry RNPV Morphology and structure of the obtained nanocomposite have been studied using scanning electron microscopy SEM , transmission electron microscopy TEM and fourier transform infrared FTIR spectroscopy The electrochemical performances of the as fabricated supercapacitor SC CSDPA // SDPA/CSDPA are investigated with different electrochemical methods including galvanostatic charge/discharge GCD and cyclic voltammetry CV Based on the obtained results, the system shows high specific capacitance, specific energy and specific power 640 F g 1, 29 87 Wh kg 1, 870 W kg 1, respectively, over a wide operating voltage window with low equivalent series resistance ESR 0 6 Ω cm2
