The present study aimed at synthesizing and characterizing mixed oxides/bacterial cellulose nanocomposites and evaluating its Antibacterial Activities The first part of this experimental work included preparation of bacterial cellulose, and syntheses and characterization of NBC/NiO:ZnO and NBC/NiO:Co3O4 nanocomposites based on nanostructure specifically with bacterial cellulose as a composite All the composites were synthesized using hydrothermal method; the structures of the new composites were characterized by Fourier transform infrared, scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive X–ray SEM/EDX , x ray diffraction XRD and Atomic force microscopy AFM The second part of study pertains to the evaluation of Antibacterial Activities The largest zone of inhibition 40mm was observed for NBC/NiO: Co3O4 composite at the highest concentration against staph and for NBC/NiO:ZnO composite against E coil at the highest concentration was the largest of inhibition 35mm
