چکیده مقاله
Social stress refers to strain that is formed as a result of one’s relationships Among the general public, it is commonly believed that stress is an important factor in the etiology of stroke and cardiovascular disease stroke is a reduction in cerebral blood flow that is divided into two category focal and global ischemia animal models of social stress include manipulations of living conditions at different ages, such as maternal separation, isolation stress, crowding stress, as well as aggression based manipulations like social instability, resident intruder protocols, social defeat, and maternal aggression We searched online databases for suitable studies in PubMed, MEDLINE databases The search enclosed articles published in English We limited our retained studies to those with results relating to social stress and stroke in all its certainly existing forms Stress oxidative increased after ischemic reperfusion in rats Apoptotic cells increased after stroke induction Post traumatic stress was observed in rats Stress significantly increased the inner diameter of the aorta and thickness/aortic inner diameter ratio AWT/AID The results of this review based on “stroke and social stress” provide evidence that a negative social environment can adversely affect cerebrovascular health and suggest that the underlying mechanism involves increased activation of the HPA axis The deleterious consequence of eliciting a glucocorticoid mediated stress response is present regardless of whether exposure occurs several days before, during, or immediately after injury Lastly, the stress response in rats produces functionally significant behavioral deficits in post stroke recovery
