چکیده مقاله
In recent years, Building Information Modeling BIM has emerged as a pivotal approach in the architecture, engineering, and construction AEC industry The successful implementation of BIM has been heavily reliant on the establishment of standardized frameworks and protocols, particularly in the United Kingdom and Europe The UK has played a leading role in the development of BIM standards, with the introduction of the PAS ۱۱۹۲ series and later the ISO ۱۹۶۵۰ standard, which aimed to enhance information management across the project lifecycle These standards, which emphasize collaboration and data sharing, have set a global benchmark for BIM practices, making it easier for stakeholders to work together, streamline processes, and increase project efficiency In Europe, various countries, including Germany, France, and Scandinavian nations, have developed their own national BIM strategies in alignment with ISO ۱۹۶۵۰ to support the standardization efforts initiated by the EU The EU’s Directive ۲۰۱۴/۲۴/EU on public procurement encouraged the use of BIM in public projects to reduce costs and improve transparency Despite significant progress, challenges such as the shortage of skilled professionals and resistance to adopting digital technologies remain barriers to widespread BIM adoption However, with ongoing advancements in digital technology and international collaboration, the future of BIM standards in Europe and the UK remains promising, facilitating greater interoperability and efficiency in construction projects worldwide
