In principle, the extraterritoriality of the high seas and poor or inconsistent security measures that apply in coastal areas and ports facilities in maritime environment could make it attractive to pirates and terrorist operations in many parts and international waters especially Somalia coast According to statistics More than 90% of the world’s transfer of goods is done by merchant ship lines From this point of view, the security of any vessel is very important This study uses analytical – descriptive approach to analyse The Study of I R I Strategic Navy role to Repress Maritime Terrorism and Pirates in international waters Findings of this study show that from 2008 about 95 naval squadron have been detached to the east and north part of Indian, Atlantic and Pacific oceans to support the interests of I R I In regard to this abnormality international regulation expressed that Maritime terrorism and piracy are illegal player that establish violent acts and unstable the security at seas Therefore The I R of Iran strategic navy as independent navy presented in international waters from 2008 for challenge to maritime terrorism and piracy to protect I R I interests such as the security of communication channels, Developing the Maritime Diplomacy and promotion the trust between I R I and other maritime countries, Prevention of Iran phobia, Transfer the message of peace and friendship to the world especially maritime countries and humanitarian aid to the Survivors at sea
