The sustainable management of tourism in coastal areas is critical due to their environmental sensitivity and socio economic significance This study aims to analyze and prioritize tourism management strategies for coastal regions using the Analytic Network Process ANP approach The selected strategies include Integrated Coastal Zone Management ICZM , Community Based Tourism CBT , Ecosystem Based Management, Sustainable Tourism Action Plans STAP , Disaster Mitigation Strategies, Waste Management, Vulnerability Assessment, Stakeholder Engagement, Strategic Planning Frameworks, and Ecotourism Development The ANP methodology was employed to evaluate the interdependencies and feedback among these strategies Pairwise comparisons were conducted to assess their relative influence, and a supermatrix was constructed and normalized to derive global priorities The limiting supermatrix provided the final weights, highlighting the most critical strategies for effective tourism management in coastal areas The results revealed that ICZM is the highest priority strategy, reflecting its comprehensive and integrative nature in addressing the complexities of coastal tourism management CBT, Waste Management, and Ecotourism Development were also identified as significant strategies, emphasizing the importance of community engagement, environmental stewardship, and low impact tourism Moderately ranked strategies, such as Ecosystem Based Management and Vulnerability Assessment, underscore the need for targeted interventions to protect ecosystems and address environmental risks Meanwhile, STAP and Disaster Mitigation Strategies ranked lower, indicating their contextual importance as supportive measures
