Today, Ramp control is one of the most effective highway management strategies and has provided many benefits in some cases such as increased output in pharynxes, reduced travel times, crash rates, and more In this thesis, two improved methods have been proposed to resolve these problems in the capacity discussion Ramp control includes two constraints in competition: highway capacity and ramp queue The implementation and evaluation of the ramp control indicate that these two constraints cannot be successful due to the assumption that the capacity is incorrect and that the length of the queue is incorrect The first method is an estimate of the instantaneous capacity to address constant capacity deficits When the density starts, the use of variable practical capacity is recommended This topic has been calculated using the moving average method based on instant traffic The second approach is a proposed strategy for controlling the ramp, limiting the probability This issue was initially done by studying the probability density function for capacity under different flow conditions during the course The investigations showed that the distribution of instantaneous capacity in the occupation and density range is a normal probability distribution
