Shrink fitting is a common mounting procedure in the industries and it is also used freight wagon wheels to mount the tyre on the center While loosening of the tyre freight wagon wheels is a common problem which imposes severe financ drawbacks, by doing FEM analysis and field measurements, the effect of differe mounting parameters on the CP between the center and the bandage and finally t loosening of the bandage has been surveyed
