In this paper, design and fabrication of a specific type of linear electromotor, namely,3 phase air core Permanent Magnet Brushless DC Motor PMBLDCM has been considered A new method of design optimization for maximization of thrust force in the air core linear PMBLDCM is represented This thrust force, which is a function of electric and geometric parameters of the motor, is optimized by using the sequential quadratic programming SQP method It’s shown that experimental results are in good agreement with results of design optimization
