In this study, strain behavior and pressing pressure requirement of pure aluminum during Cross ECAP were analyzed by 3D finite element methods up to two passes The strain behavior of deformed sample is more complex and the imposed strain is highly localized in the central district of the sample Also, at least magnitude of strain exists in the edge district, especially where sample contacts to the punches At the end, the pressing pressure requirement to press sample is achieved for the first and second passes and compared to the pressure requirement of the conventional ECAP
