Wire electrical discharge machining is a widely accepted non traditional material removal process used to manufacture components with intricate profiles Selection of optimum machining conditions for obtaining higher machining efficiency is the most important task when WEDM is used for machining new advanced materials such as nanocomposite ceramics Before any attempt to process model, the effects of every parameter on process performance, must be considered In this work, by using artificial Intelligent techniques, the most effective process parameters are determined Then, the experimental data are used for training the neural network model and the genetic algorithm is used to optimize the process performance of WEDM
