چکیده مقاله
In recent years, 3D printing technology has gained significant attention in the field of dentistry for its ability to produce customized dental crowns This study aimed to evaluate the mechanical performance of 3D printed dental crowns under a universal pressure test A total of 7 types of dental crowns were fabricated using a 3D printers and other methods such as casting and CNC method are divided into three groups: Group A conventional crown , Group B 3D printed crown with resin material , and Group C 3D printed crown with metal material The crowns were subjected to a universal pressure test using a custom made testing device The results showed that all three groups of crowns exhibited sufficient strength and resistance under the applied pressure However, the 3D printed crowns demonstrated comparable or even superior mechanical properties compared to conventional crowns Furthermore, the 3D printed crowns displayed excellent adaptation and fit to the prepared tooth structures, resulting in improved aesthetic outcomes This study highlights the potential of 3D printing technology in the fabrication of dental crowns, providing a viable alternative to conventional methods The use of 3D printed crowns offers customization, accuracy, and improved mechanical properties, ensuring optimal patient satisfaction and long term success
