This paper presents the design and fabrication of auxetictubular structure and the simulation of its shape memorybehavior The auxetic tube is produced using FDM method The deformation behavior of lattice tubular structures isassessed using numerical and experimental simulations, andits shape memory property is examined The finite elementmodel was developed based on viscoelastic properties Theresults showed that the Poisson coefficient values of thestructure for the experimental test and the numerical modelwere 1 4 and 2 3, respectively, and the structure returned toits original shape when heated to 75ºC The structure hasspecific mechanical properties that are designed andfabricated rationally, and can be used to create advancedmaterials with new properties The design, fabrication andsimulation process in this paper can be applied as an effectivemethod to optimize the parameters in the desired applicationsand also to study different cases
