This paper offers a compilation of optimization techniquesapplied to 2D case studies, employing efficient MATLABimplementations of topology optimization and anoptimization module in ABAQUS Comparisons withexisting research outcomes are conducted, highlighting theefficacy of the proposed approaches MATLAB codes areutilized to perform finite element analysis, density filters,sensitivity analysis, and diverse topology optimizationmethods Two distinct scenarios are formulated foroptimizing beams under varying loading and supportconditions Innovative strategies are introduced, includingminimizing compliance while maintaining volume fractionand minimizing volume fraction relative to specific stressthresholds In summary, the most effective method will beselected tailored to each case study, considering bothsimulation time and result accuracy
