چکیده مقاله
The in flunce of tool material has been investigated on the mechanical properties of friction stir welded polyethylene sheets The experiments have been performed ot five different rotation speeds with two differnet too materials The tensile strength of the welds has been measured based on two parmeters of rolation speed and the tool marerial the optimum welding condition has been determined Finally, it has been discussed how the tool material affects the joinr strength duc to the heat generation and conduction during welding structural defects have been analyzed, based on the DSC test results and the SEM image of the weld zone
