In this research, a new cost effective method is introduced for the first time to manufacture a porous titanium scaffold for implant applications Initially, titanium and zinc plates were joined by Friction Stir Welding FSW method Then, dezincification was done by immersion of the jointed samples in a hydrochloric acid solution HCl The results showed that after dealloying a porous titanium structure with open and interconnected morphology was successfully fabricated
