In this research, the heat affected zone of resistance spot welds with different weldingcurrents for TRIP steel was investigated The HAZ zone of resistance spot welding hasbeen divided into three zones from the point of view of metallurgy: the upper criticalzone, the inter critical zone, the sub critical zone, the zone affected by the high heat ofthe fine grain and the zone affected by the high heat of the coarse grain The uppercritical zone was divided into two parts, the coarse zone Grain and fine grained region,the thermal cycle increased the grain growth at a temperature higher than the coarse grainregion during welding, and reduced the grain structure at a lower temperature Afterconducting shear and cross tensile tests and checking the fracture energy, it wasdetermined that weld fracture will occur in the supercritical region due to the presence ofsome separations due to the rich chemical composition of the alloy and theinterconnected boundaries The crack was preferably played through the weld button andin the final joint mode Crack formation at the edge of the weld button in UCHAZ wasdeflected up and down through the thickness The speed of stress accumulation inUCHAZ caused the crack to spread only inside the UCHAZ
