Rotary friction welding is one ofthe most important solid state welding processes, whichis used to connect rotating homogeneous and non homogeneous pipes and rods Highrotation speed and rapid temperature rise make the practical investigations ofthis processto face problems For this reason, it is necessary to use the finite element technique usingAbaqus software Inconel 718 alloy has many applications in the aerospace, automotiveand military industries due to its good mechanical properties at high temperatures Forthis reason, the study ofdifferent methods ofconnecting it has become very important Inthis study, the rotary friction welding process was simulated using Abaqus software andre mesh technique, and the different results that can be extracted from this process,temperature, stress, strain and strain rate were investigated Using this simulation, thedistribution ofvarious parameters in the welded pipe has been displayed
