Non destructive inspections of weld surfaces are considered a vital tool for defect detection andquality assurance in various industries, especially in various industries, and are performed to verify weld quality,increase the useful life of welded parts, and reduce the risks caused by inadequate weld properties Using theseinspections, it is possible to ensure the absence of defects and imperfections in the weld and, if necessary, makethe necessary decisions to repair or replace the welded parts However, the presence of irrelevant signs in theinspection process can lead to incorrect results, ineffective decisions, and waste of time and money This articleexamines the reasons for the appearance of irrelevant signs in liquid penetrant inspection and magnetic particleinspection Studies show that factors such as surface contamination and problems, the nature of the part undertest, poor quality of the materials used, and human errors are common reasons affecting irrelevant signs Byidentifying and analyzing these factors, more effective approaches can be provided to improve the quality ofthese types of inspections and contribute to the safety of structures
