In economic analysis, law, including copyright, cost benefit analysis, and other tools and other elements of economic methodology come to the aid of economists and jurists This is also important in the analysis of the copyright system This article tries to evaluate the most important disadvantages of copyright development such as rent seeking, limiting public space and transaction costs on the one hand, and the benefits of copyright development such as productivity, commercialization, and impact on the other Check the competition One finding of this paper is that in an overall assessment of the current copyright system in Iran and the United States, it is balanced and efficient, and the benefits of copyright outweigh its disadvantages Of course, the trend of increasing protection and copyright, especially in recent years, has been so rapid that it is difficult to discuss the future of copyright balance In our opinion, balance can increase copyright productivity
