In this study, the effect of lossy ground on the scattering response from nonlinearly loaded antenna is investigated To this end, at first a microwave equivalent circuit of the problem under consideration is proposed in the frequency domain Then a hybrid model based on combining method of moments and genetic algorithm is used to compute the scattering response from nonlinearly loaded antenna over lossy ground The achieved results show that increasing ground conductivity led to decreasing the magnitude of fundamental harmonies In addition, the magnitude of some of mixing harmonies are increasing in despite of free space Therefore, when the nonlinear antennas are located over lossy ground, the lossy effect should be considered
