The dynamic recrystallization DRX of superaustenitic austenitic stainless steel containing of 16%Cr and 25%Ni was studied with compression test in the temperature range of 900 1200°C and the strain rate range of 0 001 1s 1 The initiation and evolution of DRX were investigated with microstructural analysis and then The effect of the deformation variables T, on these values is analyzed; it is shown that over a range of temperature corrected strain rate Z=1013 5 to 1015s 1 , the initiation of dynamic recrystallization is delayed This retardation is attributed to the segregation of substitutional impurity elements, principally phosphorus, to the subboundaries of the newly forming DRX grains The mean activation energy regarding the hot deformation of 16%Cr and 25%Ni was about 425 kJ/ mol
