چکیده مقاله
The paper presented here, expresses the outcomes of an experimental study on the machining parameters of an architecturally designed, Discontinuously Reinforced Composite DRA during high – speed machining process performed on a CNC milling machine The effects of feed rate and cutting speed on cutting force, surface roughness and chip formation are focused upon during the experimentation The cutting speed ranges from 250 to 1600 m/min and feed rate is between 0 05 mm to 0 15 mm per tooth The results show an increase in cutting and feed force with the growth in feed rate which does not follow a regular pattern from the low to high cutting speed and also there is not a same tender for all forces Surface roughness adds up as the feed rate increases and the opposite is true for the growth in cutting speed
