چکیده مقاله
Dual phase steels DPS with a microstructure consisting of a hard second phase martensite embedded in a ductile matrix ferrite are very useful as their composite type microstructure This combination could enhance the strength and ductility It is therefore interesting to investigate the deep drawing behavior of them Wrinkling can occur in the critical regions of the blank submitted to compressive stresses In this work, effects of blank holder force, blank diameter and martensite phase percentage were studied on the wrinkling behavior of DPS Low carbon steel 0 08wt%C was used for making DPS with different martensite percentage An increase in the martensite percentage leads to superior strength associated with reduced ductility and it can change the response of material against deep drawing As expected, the number of wrinkles decreases as the blank diameter increases However when the blank diameter was increased the probability of occur tearing was increased
