In this investigation, lignin celloulosic texture of Walnut wood was used for producing two dimensional composite The carbon frame was first pyrolyzed from the wood template The final composites were then obtained by infiltrating molten coal tar pitch into the carbon frame under special condition of temperature ,pressure and time After carbonization, densification cycles Impregnation Carbonization and computing density and open porosity percent beyond any cycles, the samples are were characterized by SEM and XRD in order to studying micro structure, heat treatment and indicating the major phases Results showed that bulk density had a upraising trend with increasing the number of densification cycle means that the density of walnut increased from 1 051 to 1 421 and open porosity naturally decreased from 34 57% to13 22% Moreover, Mechanical properties of products were analyzed with tree point bending test and vikersVickers micro hardness test and the results were completely compatible with the densification cycles
