چکیده مقاله
AA7075 aluminum alloy has gathered wide acceptance in the fabrication of light weight structures such as aerospace applications that requiring a high strength to weight ratio Compared to the fusion welding processes that are routinely used for joining structural aluminum alloys, friction stir welding FSW process is an emerging solid state joining process in which the material that is being welded does not melt and recast This process uses a non consumable tool to generate frictional heat in the abutting surfaces Like other production processes, in order to get practical data for various situations, the time and cost spent will be high, so it is worthwhile to simulate this process via finite element In this article finite element simulation for friction stir welding of AA7075 alloy via ABAQUS software will be developed Obtained results will be proved by experimental data
