Teaching English as a widely used international language has always been important In the current context, with rapid advancements in educational technology, creating suitable learning environments aligned with modern teaching methods is crucial Active teaching methods have a significant effect on improving students' academic performance; in such methods students show greater interaction, participation, and motivation This study employed a qualitative synthesis research design meta synthesis following six stages To gather relevant sources, keywords such as active teaching, English language, and secondary school were used A total of ۴۶ articles and ۲ books were reviewed from databases including the Comprehensive Human Sciences Portal, Scientific Information Database SID , ScienceDirect, Noormags, Google Scholar, Civilica, and IEEE Xplore The aim of this research was to investigate active teaching methods for English language courses in secondary school The synthesis yielded ۵ main themes and ۸ secondary sub themes among the extracted components
