In the last century, the widespread use of mustard, its long term toxic effects is a debilitating chemicalagent The most used chemical warfare agent is sulfur mustard SM or mustard, which is a strong blisteringalkylating chemical agent that was used by Iraqi forces against Iran The effect of oil on the microbialpopulation depends on the chemical composition of the oil and the types of microorganisms present, and itcauses an increase in the population of some microbes Organisms play a useful role in breaking down wastematerials and in establishing biological cycles such as the carbon cycle and the sulfur cycle in nature, butsometimes the implementation of this role has disadvantages for industries The increase in bacterial speciesthat is associated with airway inflammation causes lung problems in chemical victims, which will create atargeted way to control and maintain the balance of the microbial population for treatment In this review,reliable domestic and international sources are used, and the purpose of this study is to investigate the effectof decomposing microorganisms on chemical mustard agents
