چکیده مقاله
The environmental crises of the present era have highlighted the urgent need to focus on dry and semi dry landscapes These regions, due to scarce water resources, vegetation cover and the high sensitivity of ecosystems to climate change, are particularly vulnerable to its impacts This study examines future climate modeling and its implications for the resilience of the Lar River basin in southeastern Iran For this purpose, daily historical data from 1984 to 2024 were analyzed, and future scenarios were developed using the HadGEM3 GC31 LL global climate model, statistically downscaled and bias corrected with the LARS WG software Projections were generated under the intermediate SSP2 4 5 scenario, which represents a pathway of moderate climate change The methodological innovation of this study lies in integrating field based observations with climate modeling to identify management strategies and evaluate resilience in dry and semi dry ecosystems The findings reveal a continuous warming trend, changes in precipitation patterns, and intensified seasonal variability, highlighting the necessity of adopting adaptive management strategies and planning for climate resilient landscapes such as the creation of natural and artificial lakes and the development of vegetation cover
