In this study, the level of CD44 expression was investigated in pairs of pre eclampsia patients and a control group The study was conducted on 30 pregnant mothers who were diagnosed with mild or severe pre eclampsia were admitted to one of teaching hospitals in Mashhad The placenta tissue samples of the patients were analyzed for CD44 factor expression by immunohistochemistry Mouse monoclonal anti CD44 antibody was used as primary antibody and human anti CD44 antibody was used as secondary antibody The average staining intensity of CD44 protein in pre eclampsia and control groups was investigated, and the amount of staining was higher in the pre eclampsia group and this difference was statistically significant The level of CD44 in pregnant mothers with preeclampsia was significantly different compared to the control group
