The rapid advancement of technology has had a profound impact on the construction andbuilding maintenance sector The goal of this article is to provide a comprehensive reviewand analysis of various technologies that have emerged to enhance building detail tracking,with a special focus on facilitating inspection and maintenance processes This article begins with an examination of the applications of Augmented Reality AR ,Virtual Reality VR , and Building Information Modeling BIM in the constructionindustry These technologies have revolutionized the visualization and analysis of buildingdetails, enabling better decision making and enhancing communication among stakeholders Furthermore, the concept of Digital Twin technology is explored, involving the creation ofa virtual model of a physical building This enables real time monitoring, simulation, andanalysis of building components, leading to more efficient inspection and maintenanceprocesses This investigation also addresses other related topics such as data integration, collaborationcapabilities, and cybersecurity challenges associated with implementing these technologies Overall, this comprehensive review demonstrates the significant role that AR, VR, BIM, andDigital Twin technologies play in improving building detail tracking, ultimately facilitatingmore effective inspection and maintenance methods The findings of this study can serve asa valuable resource for researchers, professionals, and decision makers in the constructionand maintenance sectors
