This article delves into the critical integration of phenomenology in architectural design,emphasizing the development of a profound sense of place for user centric spaces Through a phenomenological lens, the concept of Sense of Place is explored,highlighting the emotional connections individuals form with environments groundedin meaning and symbols The evolution of this sense is traced from initial humanpresence to a deep integration with the space, culminating in a strong bond informed bypersonal experiences and social interactions The study delves into the development process of spatial recognition, which evolvesthrough heightened awareness of physical attributes, emotional bonds, and a deep senseof belonging Essential components such as place attachment, dependence, and identityshape individuals' perceptions, fostering a rich understanding of the environment andenhancing user experiences Furthermore, the article delves into the dual concepts of Spirit of Place and Sense ofPlace, illuminating their distinct roles in architectural design While the Spirit ofPlace draws inspiration from unique atmospheres and existing surroundings to guidethe creation of spaces, the Feeling of Place serves as a practical tool for craftingenvironments that resonate with users on a deeper emotional level By encapsulating these insights and advocating for a user centric design approachgrounded in phenomenology, this article aims to enrich architectural discourse, informdesign practices, and foster the creation of meaningful, engaging, and resonant spacesfor diverse users
