Introduction:Currently, massage is one of the most common forms of complementary and alternative medicine CAM In Iranian medicine, massage is one of the principles of maintaining health, which is generally used in the field of treatment to deal with the superiority of cold air and body humidity, which leads to disorders of body organs In Iranian medicine, dalk is introduced as a type of massage, which means rubbing Dalk has different types that one of which is Dalk Esteedad which is called preliminary massage and is performed about 30 to 45 minutes before exercise or activity It is done slowly at first and intensively at the end of the work to prepare the body for activity, which helps to remove toxins by liquefying them Method & Material:This narrative review was done by keywords “Massage AND Nursing care , Dalk massage AND Nursing care”, during 2012 2022 thought PubMed, Elsevier, ProQuest, Scopus and Google scholar search engineer in English and Farsi languages Results:The results show that Iranian Dalk and Ghamz massage can be useful in improving physical symptoms such as chronic shoulder and neck pain, and also prevents its recurrence, with an immediate effect on reducing pain and muscle spasms and stimulating shortened tissues, low back pain and insomnia It makes the patient feel pleasant and comfortable Also, this type of massage reduces the patient's stress symptoms Discussion: Dalk massage has been used for centuries and is very popular and has a positive effect on a wide range of musculoskeletal diseases, and also the findings show that Dalk massage is easily available, relatively safe, affordable and without need special tools and equipment, and it can be used in long term therapeutics according to these, this type of massage is recommended in nursing
