Andre Dubus in House of Sand and Fog illustrates the desperate unhomed situation of an Iranian migrant family besides an American couple who were the former owner of the house Based on Bahabha s post colonial concepts such as identity crisis and mainly unhomeliness, the present article attempts to investigate the unhomely moments that occurs in the life of the two migrant and native families to see why they did not feel at home at their home Beside the cultural clashes of the east and the west, the final death and destructions of both families, indicates how the cruel capitalistic society of America silenced the victim’s voices and gradually marginalized them
