Assessment plays a crucial role in the teaching and learning process This paper aims to analyze the issues associated with classroom assessment practices and discuss recent reforms in this area It recognizes that assessment is an integral part of the educational process and highlights the importance of effectively addressing the concerns and challenges related to assessment in the classroom Additionally, the paper explores the recent changes and improvements implemented in assessment practices, emphasizing the need for continuous reform to enhance the assessment process and support student learning Broadly, the overarching goal of this paper is to emphasize the importance of continuous improvement and reform in classroom assessment It highlights the need for educators and policymakers to critically evaluate current practices, address the identified concerns, and embrace innovative approaches to create a more inclusive, valid, and reliable assessment environment By doing so, educators can better support student learning, provide meaningful feedback, and ensure that assessments truly reflect students' knowledge and abilities
