The use of Artificial Intelligence AI in writing instruction has become a hot topic among researchers and educators With the advancements in technology, AI powered writing tools have emerged as promising tools to facilitate language learning and improve writing skills This review article aims to explore the impact of AI on writing fluency, an important aspect of language learning and assessment The paper discusses the similarities between writing and speech, and how AI has the potential to enhance writing instruction by providing personalized and efficient feedback to students It also delves into the various ways in which AI can improve motivation and engagement in language learners, leading to better writing outcomes The paper concludes by emphasizing the need for further research in this area to fully understand the role of AI in writing instruction and its long term effects on language learning
