Research in both environment and AI endeavors for prescient understanding of complex systems, wherenonlinearities emerge from multidimensional intelligent and feedbacks over different scales After a century ofautonomous, nonconcurrent progresses in computational and environmental research, we predict a basic requirefor intentional cooperative energy to meet current societal challenges against the background of worldwidechange These challenges include understanding the unpredictability of systems level wonders and strength flowon a quickly changing planet Here, we highlight both the guarantee and the criticalness of a meeting investigateworldview between environment and AI Environmental systems are a challenge to completely and holisticallymodel, even using the most noticeable AI method today: profound neural systems Moreover, environmentalsystems have emergent and strong behaviors that may inspire modern, vigorous AI architectures andmethodologies We share examples of how challenges in environmental systems modeling would advantagefrom progresses in AI procedures that are themselves motivated by the systems they look for to model Bothfields have motivated each other, but in a roundabout way, in an advancement toward this merging Weemphasize the require for more intentional collaboration to quicken the understanding of environmental strengthwhile building the strength right now missing in modern AI systems, which have been appeared to fail at timessince of destitute generalization completely different settings Tireless epistemic boundaries would advantagefrom attention in both disciplines The suggestions of a successful convergence go past progressingenvironmental disciplines or accomplishing an artificial common intelligence—they are basic for both enduringand flourishing in an dubious uncertain questionable dubious future
