The construction industry is one of the most crucial economic sectors in societies It consumes a significant volume of raw materials and building materials in line with the progress of civil engineering projects Among the generated construction waste, concrete waste is a substantial portion Disposing of this concrete waste in disposal centers might seem like a straightforward task, but it is equivalent to wasting national capital Each year, the need for more space to accommodate waste disposal grows due to population growth, urban expansion, and the environmental consequences associated with it Recycling concrete waste is an environmentally friendly solution that warrants further examination from an economic perspective The purpose of the present research is to technically and economically evaluate the establishment of a concrete waste recycling site in Tehran Province The proposed site can annually produce 362,000 tons of recycled aggregates The total cost per ton of recycled aggregate is 460,000 Iranian Rials, assuming a selling price of 920,000 Iranian Rials The project’s lifespan is 20 years, and a discount rate of 6% has been considered Based on the economic analysis conducted using Excel and Ret Screen software, establishing such a site in Tehran Province is economically justified, with an internal rate of return IRR of 33 5% Considering the chosen discount rate, it would attract investors Additionally, the payback period for the project is 36 months
