In this study, CuO CeO2nanocomposites were synthesized via decomposition method using NH4 2Ce NO3 6 and CuSO4salts as cerium and copper sources, respectively The effect of reaction time on the morphology and the particles size was studied CuO CeO2nanocomposites were characterized via x ray diffraction XRD pattern, scanning electron microscopy SEM , and infrared spectrum FT IR The crystal structure of the CuO CeO2nanocompositewas studied by XRD pattern and the average size of crystallites calculated by Scherrer formula was around of 20 25 nm at 600 ͦC We studied the effect of CuO CeO2nanocompositeon hydrogen storage The hydrogen storage capacity of CuO CeO2nanocomposite in 1mA current and 11 cycles obtained 2400 mAh/g
