چکیده مقاله
In this work the adsorption of cationic dyes, Methylene Blue, onto polypyrrole coated on polyethylene glycol PPy/PEG from aqueous solutions was studied The Percentage of dye removal of PPy/PEG to adsorb Methylene Blue from aqueousdye solutions was evaluated at different pH, contact times, adsorbent dosage and initial dye concentration The optimumconditions of adsorption were found to be a PPy PEG dose of 0 55 grams in 50 mL of Methylene blue solution 20 ppm ,a contact time of 14 min and pH 1 The equilibrium data were applied on several kinetic models and the pseudo secondordermodel was the best model to describe adsorption process According to the obtained results, Adsorption isothermswere well fitted by Langmuir model
