Iron Oxide Fe3O4 nanoparticles have shown great promise in removing heavy metals and dyestuffs from industrial effluents due to their magnetic properties and high surface area This study focused on the efficient adsorption of dyestuff effluents using Fe3O4 nanoparticles The collected samples were subjected to adsorption and decolorization at specific intervals, with the amount of Fe3O4 kept constant The crystalline structure of Fe3O4 was confirmed using X ray diffraction XRD UV Vis Spectroscopy was utilized to monitor the absorption of the effluents, and it was found that the spherical shaped Fe3O4 nanoparticles were effective in adsorbing dyestuff effluents The results indicated that contaminants' maximum adsorption and decolorization occurred within 30 minutes using a minimal amount of Fe3O4 The optimal dye absorption was observed at a pH of 7, resulting in complete sequestration of Blue21 within 2 hours under dark conditions
