In the current century demand for tourism in the desert has increased In response to this demand, it is necessary for the scientific community to organize the development of this kind of tourism in an ecological way in order to ecotourism This organizing has been of interest to researchers in the form of planning for sustainable tourism development Like any system, it is necessary to recognize the natural, social and economic components of the unique desert system The seasonal nature of tourism in the desert will prevent long trips However, this seasonality should not lead us to underestimate the irreversible disruption that tourism can cause over just a few months in these fragile ecosystems, if it is not properly planned and controlled On the other hand, properly managed, tourism can bring economic and social benefts to local populations The main topic of this paper is local communities that can be used in the development process as a source of income and a way to protect natural resources for local and local communities In this paper, participation is defined as a turning point between development planners and host tourism community In terms of nature, participation in different types of spontaneous, induced, and coercive is categorized, each of which has somehow brought people into their own plans Finally the model to facilitate the participation of local communities in the planning and management of ecotourism in eight steps is produced 1 Determine the appropriate participation mechanisms, 2 Undertake initial dialogue and educational efforts, 3 Create and/or reinforce support mechanisms 4 Conduct preliminary studies, 5 Collective decision making as to the scope and nature of ecotourism development 6 Community based development of action plan and implementation scheme 7 Implementation, and 8 Monitoring and evaluation
