چکیده مقاله
Rivers are vital ecosystems that naturally mitigate pollution through self purification, a process involving physical, chemical, and biological mechanisms to degrade or dilute contaminants This paper explores the mechanisms of river self purification, emphasizing its potential for industrial applications in wastewater treatment and environmental management By integrating ecological engineering and advanced monitoring technologies, industries can harness these natural processes to enhance treatment efficiency, reduce costs, and meet stringent environmental regulations The study reviews recent advancements, quantifies self purification capacities using case studies, and proposes a novel framework for industrial adoption Data from tropical and temperate rivers highlight the influence of environmental factors like flow rate, temperature, and macrophyte diversity Two tables summarize key parameters and case studies, while figures illustrate pollutant decay and purification efficiency Over 40 recent references from ISI journals ensure a robust foundation, addressing gaps in applying self purification industrially This work underscores the synergy between natural processes and industrial innovation for sustainable water management
