A framework for a pavement management system for Iran has been proposed for the rapid and efficient utilization of the system within the technical and administrative divisions of the Ministry of Roads and Transportation This paper describes the software package based on the proposed framework for the short term horizon The software provides summary statistics, reports and pavement condition ratings in tabular and graphic format The logic behind the methods used for segmentation, collected distresses, surface rating index, prediction models, maintenance and rehabilitation assignment and prioritization are described
