چکیده مقاله
This study presents an innovative approach for a demountable external semi rigid beam to column composite joint DECJ under cyclic loading featuring friction grip bolted shear connectors, central reinforcing bars, and a precast geopolymer concrete slab The proposed design aimed to enhance deconstructability and sustainability by inserting central reinforcing threaded bars through the column flanges, allowing for disassembly of joint elements after their service life One full scale steel concrete composite joint was designed and tested to assess its seismic performance, focusing on stiffness, moment rotation response, ductility, slip between the precast concrete slab and steel beam, strength degradation, energy dissipation, and failure mode The experimental results showed that using bolted shear connectors and central reinforcing threaded bars in DECJ significantly enhances the rotation capacity, approximately 2 7 times higher than that provided by EC4 The proposed DECJ enhances the moment capacity and ductility of the joint, making it suitable for seismic applications Moreover, it provides a practical alternative to traditional composite joint systems due to its enhanced ease of assembly and disassembly
