چکیده مقاله
Lattice structures, a class of metamaterials, have emerged as a groundbreaking concept in recent years, driven by rapid advancements in Additive Manufacturing AM These advancements offer unparalleled design freedom, enabling the creation of intricate geometries with tailored mechanical properties Lattice structures exhibit remarkable characteristics, including a high strength to weight ratio, exceptional energy absorption, tunable stiffness, and unique mechanical behaviors such as a negative Poisson's ratio Since 2020, their potential application in concrete structures has garnered significant interest, primarily for enhancing strength and ductility This study presents an experimental program to investigate the impact of AM polymeric lattice structures on the uniaxial compressive performance of lattice reinforced concrete It explores how material selection and lattice morphology influence concrete's ductility, strength, and failure behavior The results demonstrate that lattice reinforcement can increase uniaxial compressive capacity by up to 25% due to confinement effects Smaller unit cells exhibit inferior strength performance due to the chemical effect of the alkaline environment of the cement matrix on polymeric material degradation These findings provide valuable insights for researchers and engineers, highlighting the potential of lattice structures to enhance concrete ductility beyond traditional reinforcement methods and offer a benchmark to select the proper material with respect to unit cell dimensions
