چکیده مقاله
Sudden power outages pose a critical challenge to the reliability and stability of electrical power systems Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition SCADA systems play a vital role in detecting, isolating, and recovering from such outages through real time data acquisition and automated control This paper assesses the performance of SCADA systems in handling unexpected power disruptions, focusing on detection latency, fault localization accuracy, restoration response time, and operator intervention efficiency Case studies from regional utilities in Iran are presented to highlight operational strengths and identify areas for improvement The study also explores how enhancements such as intelligent alarming, data driven analytics, and integration with Geographic Information Systems GIS can improve SCADA responsiveness and grid resilience
