چکیده مقاله
The amount of blood in the blood bank should be determined based on the needs of the hospitals, and when there is a sudden increase in demand in the event of unexpected events such as earthquakes, floods, and wars, responding to the demand should be appropriate If there is not enough inventory, it must be procured from other sources, which leads to shortage cost In addition, because blood is a perishable material and has a limited life, if the useful life of the blood is over, the remaining blood cannot be used, which leads to the wastage of blood, and this action causes the cost of wastage Our goal in this article is to investigate and analyze the sensitivity of the parameters involved in blood management, so that by developing a mathematical model, we can determine the level of blood inventory for a specific type of blood group so that it brings the lowest total cost Modeling of the problem is done using the Markov chain and in this article it is tried to obtain the optimal inventory level by considering the limitations Subsequently, sensitivity analysis was used to evaluate the effect of changes in the parameters and it was found that among all the parameters, the amount of demand and the maximum age of usable blood have the greatest effect on the total cost and total blood inventory
