AI, which is capable of simulating human thought processes through computer systems, is rapidly expanding its influence and finding applications in diverse areas This paper provides an overview of the applications of AI in language education to address existing gaps in language learning The data has been obtained through an extensive search of databases and current trends in language education A wide range of user friendly AI assisted applications and platforms are showcased, suitable for self study and teaching environments Today's artificial intelligence has proven its potential in education, offering a glimpse of the potential revolution in language teaching and learning
